From a Prototype to a Purpose
InReach Storage started in Southwest Florida when founder John Finch built a prototype motorized shelving system to reclaim wasted vertical space in homes and garages. The company incorporated in Florida on October 5, 2015 and launched with a founder-led model: John handled design, sales, coordination, and installations himself.
Over time the business grew deliberately rather than chasing rapid national expansion. Product offerings widened from the original motorized shelving to a full suite of garage and home storage solutions. InReach emphasized high-touch service, custom design, and on-site consultations as core differentiators.
Today InReach operates with 15 full-time employees, an 8,000 sq ft warehouse, and dedicated departments for design, installation, and customer care—allowing the company to scale its capacity while preserving the founder-driven attention to quality and customer experience that defined its early years.
