Our Proven Process

Every InReach Storage project follows a clear, end-to-end process that ensures consistent quality, predictable timelines, and 100% customer satisfaction—from the first consultation to final installation and ongoing support.

Discovery

Understanding Your Space and Goals

Our Goal

Understand needs, constraints, and outcomes the customer expects.

What Happens

A scheduled, on-site consultation by a designer that includes space measurements, inventory walkthrough, and discussion of use-cases, budget, and aesthetic preferences.

Deliverables

Completed site survey; itemized needs list (what must be stored, frequency of access); rough budget range; structural notes and photos; feasibility and safety assessment for motorized systems.

Customer Role

Provide access to the space, show items to be stored, identify pain points and priorities, and confirm any non-negotiable constraints (e.g., looks, budget, or HOA requirements).

Timeline

Typical on-site visit 45–90 minutes; written summary and next-step proposal typically delivered within 48 business hours.

Design

Turning Ideas Into Buildable Designs

Our Goal

Translate the discovery into a buildable, user-focused design that meets the customers goal – whether that is a focus of function, style, cost, or a balance of all factors.

What Happens

The design team creates CAD layouts and 3D renderings where applicable, selects finishes and hardware, specifies motorized assemblies and safety components, and prepares a detailed cost estimate and installation plan.

Deliverables

Finalized 2D/3D drawings; parts and materials list; schedule and lead-time estimates; signed proposal and scope of work.

Customer Role

Review renderings, confirm finishes and accessory selections, sign the proposal, and approve the installation schedule.

Timeline

Typical design cycle 2–7 business days after discovery depending on complexity; expedited options available.

Fabrication & Preparation

Building and Staging Every Component

Our Goal

Produce, stage, and kit all components so installation proceeds smoothly and efficiently.

What Happens

Cabinets and assemblies are fabricated or configured, motorized systems are assembled and tested, materials are quality-inspected, and kits for each install zone are created.

Deliverables

Staged job with labeled kits, pre-tested motorized units, delivery schedule, and on-site checklist for installers.

Timeline

Typical lead time 7–30 days from design sign-off depending on custom work.

Install

Expert Installation, Done Right the First Time

Our Goal

Deliver a safe, efficient installation that matches the approved design and is ready for immediate use.

What Happens

Site prep and protection, structural verification and fastening, calibration of lifts/platforms, and final cleaning.

Deliverables

Fully installed system; completed installation checklist; on-site calibration. final invoice and warranty paperwork.

Customer Role

Provide access during scheduled install days and participate in the final walk-through.

Quality Controls

Install lead enforces job checklists, safety protocols, and a finish inspection; any deviations are documented and corrected before sign-off.

Timeline

Typical install 2–3 days for standard garage systems; multi-zone or large installs scheduled across multiple days with clear daily milestones.

Walk-Through & Handover

Ensuring Everything Works as Designed

Our Goal

Confirm the system meets the agreed scope, demonstrate operation, and capture final acceptance.

What Happens

Installation lead conducts a step-by-step walk-through demonstrating motorized operation, cabinet functionality, accessory use, and maintenance basics; customer signs acceptance form.

Deliverables

Customer acceptance form; contact info for service and spare parts.

Timeline

Walk-through occurs immediately at install completion; acceptance recorded the same day.

Follow-Up & Support

Our Commitment Continues After Installation

Our Goal

Ensure long-term performance, rapid issue resolution, and ongoing customer satisfaction.

What Happens

Customer Care schedules a follow-up check-in 2–7 days after install to address questions, validate performance, and log feedback.

Deliverables

Completed follow-up report; any open service tickets with target resolution dates.

Timeline

Standard proactive follow-up at 2–7 days; warranty response targets communicated in the service agreement.
